“Our time in Tuscany at the villa, in Cortona and in the beautiful Tuscan countryside was the highlight of our trip by far. Since landing back in the reality of home, we are always saying to each other how we long to go back, and how fantastic the tour was.

You were absolutely fantastic Ines,as our tour guide and local friend, it would not have been remotely the same if we hadn't come there on the tour with you. The tour itself is perfect, with a great mix of flexibility and options, so that those who would want to relax and keep sightseeing to a minimum would be able to just chill out at the villa, go into Cortona for dinner, and take in the serene fields of sunflowers and the blue skies. On the flipside those who would want to see as much as possible would be able to do that also and not feel overly exhausted, because of the beautiful relaxing villa that you come home to.

“In July 2009 we visited Tuscany and spent 10 days in Cortona. We stayed in a delightful villa,about 15 mins. drive from the town of Cortona, which was on a 50 hectare property abounding in huge fields of sunflowers which were at their peak creating a most picturesque scene with the hilltop town of Cortona in the background.

Our tailored tour with Ines was perfect and the itinerary was planned around the towns we wanted to visit. Each day we'd set off to visit a new town with Ines who was most accommodating and attentive to our needs and always punctual. After sightseeing, it was nice to return to our lovely villa in the afternoon, which was pleasantly cool even on the hottest of days, for a rest and swim before going out for dinner. Each evening we went to one of the many restaurants in the delightful township (sometimes back to the same restaurant it was so good) and the leisurely stroll through the town was always enjoyable with the many shops, galleries and superb panoramic view of the surrounding area. We have very happy memories of our stay in the villa with it's huge pool set in the lovely colourful garden with beautiful roses and citrus, fields of delicious rockmelons and of course the magnificent sunflowers.”
