- Travel insurance, however, please note that travellers on Tours of Tuscany tours must have comprehensive travel insurance. We will require evidence including policy number and insurer’s name.
- Entry fees to museums/galleries and other places wherever entry fees apply (pre-purchase of tickets can be arranged).
- All lunches and meals not specifically listed above.
- All personal expenditure.

Arrival and Departure Times:
All tours are based on a Saturday to Saturday stay.
Check IN: 4.00 pm Saturday
Check OUT: 10.00 am Saturday
Our tour groups have been designed for a group of no more than 12 people per week to ensure that your needs and enjoyment is always our top priority.

Prices, Deposits, and Payments:
Prices shown are per person, double occupancy. A single supplement of $300 will apply to single occupancy.
The deposit is 25% of the overall tour price, or as listed on the tour registration form is required at time a booking is confirmed. No booking will be reserved until the prescribed deposit is received.
Balance of the payment will be due within 30 days of booking confirmation.
Deposits and balance payments are accepted by bank wire electronic transfer. Wiring banking instructions will be sent to you after we have received your Booking Confirmation form. After your deposit has been accredited we will send you an invoice with the due date for the balance of payment. Should your final payment fail to reach us by the date specified on your invoice, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund.
Cancellation and Refunds:
All tours, travel arrangements and accommodations are secure from the time of confirmation of booking. Consequently, a cancellation fee will apply on all cancellations.
If you cancel your tour reservation for any reason, your first deposit of 25% is non-refundable.
The cancellation fees are as follows:
First payment/deposit: 100% of the deposit amount.
Greater than 60 days prior to travel: 40% of the tour cost or amount paid.
Within 60 days but more than 30 days prior to travel: 50% of the tour cost or amount paid.
Within 30 days of travel: 100% of the tour cost or amount paid.
Refunds are not paid for non-medical personal problems, air carrier delays or cancellations, inability to obtain passports, business problems or emergencies etc.
If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make refunds for unused services, if you fail to join a tour or join it after its departure or leave it prior to its completion no refund will be made.
In the unlikely event that we would cancel your tour, you would be entitled to a 100% refund within 2 weeks of the tour cancellation date.
It is strongly recommended you purchase your own travel insurance to cover cancellation coverage, airline tickets, trip delay, lost luggage or any potential medical expenses.
You are allowed one suitcase and one carry-on bag. If you exceed this limit, there may not be space in the vehicle to transport your excess luggage and it will be at your own expense to have it transported throughout the tour. We suggest that you bring a day pack for carrying water, guide books, jacket, rain gear, etc.
Level of Fitness:
Most medieval towns were built as hilltop fortifications and many streets are cobblestone, some with inclines. Although our tours are leisurely paced there is a certain amount of walking involved daily. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Age is not important so long as you are physically fit. Our tours are not suited for anyone who has serious problems with knees, back or heart.
We have space available for one or two singles on each of our tours. They are provided with single-use double rooms. The additional single supplement cost will apply.
Our recommended tours and dates, as listed in our web site, are guaranteed once a booking is confirmed. Your additional expenses will be for non-included meals, moderate tipping where appropriate, and personal sightseeing or shopping.
Limit of Liability:
No responsibility is accepted for any loss, expense, accident, injury, or damage to any person or property due to the actions or omissions of any person, or any cause, including but not limited to acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, strikes, defects in machinery, breakdown of equipment, weather, quarantine, negligence, loss of baggage, or other causes beyond our control, such losses being the responsibility of the guest.
Membership on Tour:
Tours of Tuscany Pty Ltd reserves the right to accept, reject, or not retain any person as a tour participant whose condition or general deportment impedes the operation of the tour or, in the opinion of the tour manager, affects the rights and enjoyment of other guests.
A guest not retained on tour shall have no cause for complaint or refund and shall bear any/all extra expenses that ensue.
All information on this website is, to the best of our knowledge, correct. However, we reserve the right to make changes in accommodations, visits, and itineraries at any time should it become necessary or desirable. Delays or itinerary changes caused by strikes, bad weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control and we are not obliged to pay guests compensation.
